3 Simple Steps to MASSIVELY Increase Your Amazon Sales

If you’re struggling with low conversion rates on Amazon, you’re certainly not alone. Getting traffic to flow to your listings is one thing but turning that traffic into actual sales is where many come unstuck. In this video, I walk you through three simple yet highly effective steps to instantly boost your conversion rates and drive more sales.

Get the Amazon Prime Badge

Amazon Prime is one of the biggest trust signals for buyers and with good reason. Right now, there are over 160 million Prime customers in the US and around 14 million in the UK. Now that’s a lot of potential to tap into, so if your listing doesn’t have the Prime badge, you’re instantly at a disadvantage.

You can qualify for Prime by either using Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) which is where Amazon handles your storage, packing, and shipping, or Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP), where you fulfil orders yourself but have to meet Amazon’s strict Prime shipping requirements. Having Prime eligibility improves your rankings, increases sales, and enhances customer trust, making it a must-have for any serious seller.

Use Product Videos

We’ve covered this many times, but Amazon heavily favours listings with product videos. Until recently, only brand-registered sellers could upload videos, however, that’s no longer the case. Adding a video to your product page gives customers a clearer perspective and allows you to showcase key features as well as demonstrate the product in use. Amazon states that videos can increase conversion rates by at least 5-10%, though from my experience, I believe it can be even higher.

The key to making an effective video is focusing on product details. A common mistake made by Amazon sellers is overproducing a flashy brand video instead of showing exactly how the product works. Customers want to see quality, size, and practical use cases before making a purchase, so a well-made product video makes your listing stand out and gives shoppers the confidence to buy.

Upgrade to A+ or Premium A+ Content

If you’re a brand-registered seller, A+ content is one of the most powerful ways to increase conversions. This feature replaces the standard product description with a more engaging format that includes images, formatted text and interactive elements which help make your listing visually appealing and easier to navigate, all while standing out from the competition of course.

A+ content alone can increase conversion rates by 10-15%, but unlocking Premium A+ Content can help drive things further. Much further. The premium version includes a host of additional features like interactive comparison charts and embedded videos which gives brands way more control over their storytelling. And unlocking Premium A+ Content is actually pretty straightforward. Once you’ve published at least five A+ content pages, Amazon will automatically grant you access. If you’re not using A+ content yet, you’re missing out on a major opportunity to enhance your listings and build trust with potential buyers.
